The 36-year-old actress signed on to the project in March, playing Rowan, a doctor who grapples with her fate as the heir to a family of witches.

Alex's look: Daddario hit the red carpet at The Peak in New York City's Hudson Yards with an elegant and unique black gown

She was joined by a number of AMC luminaries including Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Sehorn, the upcoming series Moonhaven's Joe Manganiello, Growing Up Hip Hop's Tahira Francis, Da Brat, Jessica Dupart and Angela Simmons and Dark Winds' Noah Emmerich.

Green light: The series was given the green light back in December, based on Anne Rice's novel trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches

Daddario hit the red carpet at The Peak in New York City's Hudson Yards with an elegant and unique black gown from the Michael Kors Collection. The gown only had one sleeve with a cutout exposing her midriff and a slit up the left leg.

Production: There's no indication when Daddario will start production on Mayfair Witches, but with an expected debut later this year, it will likely start sooner than later

She completed her look with a pair of black pumps, a number of gold bracelets and her engagement ring from producer/fiancee Andrew Form, who have been engaged since December. The show will follow Anne Rice's Interview With the Vampire, which are both expected to debut in late 2022 or possibly early 2023.

New roles: She is coming off HBO's White Lotus, with a new movie dubbed Wildflower with Jacki Weaver, Kiernan Shipka, Charlie Plummer and Jean Smart, in post-production

The series was given the green light back in December, based on Anne Rice's novel trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches. AMC had acquired the rights to 'an expansive collection' of Rice's work, featuring 18 novels in her library.
