Alexandra Daddario was snapped in her native New York City on Thursday, as she confirmed that she and her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron are 'very good friends' amid murmurs of a romance between the pair.

The 32-year-old actress wore a sheer teal summer dress by Carolina Herrera with a plunging top with buttons down the front, with teal and red matching sandals by Manolo Blahnik and a gold watch by Movado, with earrings.

She had her lustrous brown locks parted and cascading down her shoulders as she stepped out on a busy day in the city. 

The When We First Met star chat with People on Thursday at a promotional event for Kleenex Wet Wipes, where she opened up about her status with Efron, 30.

Insiders told the publication that the pair had been seeing one another 'on and off since their time working together on the movie last year, but they are not officially dating.'

She told E! earlier this month of the rumors: 'We work together closely; he's my love interest in [Baywatch]. I understand why people would go crazy over something like that, but Zac and I are very good friends.'

'We would have very blue-eyed children, wouldn't we?' she said of Efron, who frequently leaves comments on her social media posts, including a stirring one on her birthday in March.

He wrote: 'Happy birthday to one of the the most real, down to [earth,] stunning, intelligent, creative, loving, and most rare Pokémon ever created #alexdaddario.'

Efron's past romances include model Sami Miró and his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, while Daddario has been linked to actors Logan Lerman and Jason Fuchs.
